Who we are
This website and the advertising that points to it are operated by Bandicoot AI ("we", "us", "our"), a Queensland business that sets up AI and automation systems for businesses across Australia.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains what we collect when you book a call or enquire about our services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.
What personal information we collect
We only collect what we need to prepare for and hold your call. When you fill in the form on this site, that is:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your answers about your business: the biggest problem it faces, the size of your team, and the type of business
- The time you choose for your call
If you go on to become a client, we also collect what we need to plan and do the work:
- Your answers to our onboarding questionnaire: what your business struggles with, what takes up your time, and the software you use
- Example documents you send us, such as forms, quotes or templates you use in your business
- Logins or access to your business systems, where the work needs them
- Agreements, invoices, payment records, and our correspondence with you
We do not collect sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act, and we do not ask for it.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you, through:
- The form and booking calendar on this website
- Phone calls, SMS and email
- Our calls and video meetings with you, including the onboarding questionnaire we fill in together
- Documents you send us
Why we collect it
We use your personal information to:
- Book your call and send you reminders about it
- Prepare for the call, using the answers you gave about your business
- Write your plan, using your questionnaire answers and the documents you send
- Contact you about the enquiry you made
- Deliver our services, if you go ahead
- Invoice you and keep the financial records we are required to keep
- Send you occasional information about our services, where you have not opted out
We do not use your information for any purpose you would not reasonably expect from the enquiry you made.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to run the business:
- Software we use to operate — including GoHighLevel, which runs our form, booking calendar, client records, email and SMS, and Google Meet, which runs our calls
- Payment processing — Stripe, which processes card payments. We do not store your full card details
- AI tools — including Anthropic's Claude, which we use to help write your plan and build your systems from the information you give us
- Advertising platforms — Meta, where you arrived from one of our ads
- Our accountant
- Anyone we are required to disclose to by law
Information stored overseas
Some of the services we use to run the business, including GoHighLevel, Google Meet, Stripe, Anthropic and Meta, store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By booking a call or making an enquiry, you consent to your information being stored and handled this way.
Marketing and how to opt out
If you book a call or enquire with us, we may contact you about our services by phone, SMS or email. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to an SMS, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or telling us directly. We will action it promptly and it will not affect any work already underway.
How we store and protect it
Your information, including any logins you give us, is held in password-protected systems and accessed only by people who need it. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us over the internet.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it, such as tax records. After that, we destroy or de-identify it.
Cookies, analytics and video
This website uses the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising. It may set cookies, and it records visits to the page and actions such as submitting the form or booking a call. This information is used in aggregate and does not identify you personally to us.
The video on this page is hosted by YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the video.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below.
We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. We may ask you to verify your identity before we release anything.
If we are unable to delete information because we are legally required to keep it, such as financial records, we will tell you why.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first using the details below. We will investigate and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
